The Transitional Housing program provides 17 private/semi-private rooms that residents can reside in for up to two years. This is the second step in training or ‘transitioning’ men back into housing. This program is designed for men that have some type of income (employment, disability, or other unearned income) and require that they pay up to 30% of their income as rent. It allows a reprieve for them to save money towards housing or for those that are in school to improve their potential to obtain gainful employment. Whether the residents are in emergency shelter or transitional housing, each is required to attend mandatory classes every week.
